 Who Should Attend?

S       Applicants for the BTO or OIT or Level 1 WTPO certification.

S       Small water system owners

S       Operators who wish to prepare for the BTO/WTPO exam.

 

You must apply to the Department of Health in advance for approval to take a certification examination.  For information about Water Works Operator Certification or to request an application, call the Department of Health in Olympia, WA (800) 525-2536

Workshop Description

This course is a review to get ready to take the state Basic Treatment Operator or Water Treatment Plant Operator certification examination.

S       Applied math, hydraulics and science refresher.

S       Principles of water treatment.

S       Practice answering mock exam questions referenced to ABC’s Need-To-Know Criteria.

S       Identify strengths and pinpoint areas for further study.

This course may be made possible at only a $50 charge pending funding from an EPA grant through the Department of Health, Division of Drinking Water.

Registration, Payment, Refund and Cancellation Policy - Please read carefully!

The last 4 digits of the participant's Social Security Number and full birth date is required.  This information is used to create a unique key for each student.  Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  Payment or purchase order must be received at the time of registration.  A full refund will be made for cancellations received 10 days before the workshop.  No refund will be made for cancellations received less than 10 days before the workshops.  Substitutions made less than ten (10) days prior to the workshop incur a $35 processing fee.

CEU Policy:

CEU are awarded for successful completion.  Instances of partial attendance, tardiness or leaving early will result in NO CEU being awarded.
