Who Should Attend
Water and wastewater facility operators and
maintenance personnel, particularly, anyone interested in understanding the
fundamentals of process control instrumentation systems, their components,
and how they are supposed to work will benefit from this workshop.
Workshop Description
This practical, easy to understand workshop will
help you grasp the essentials of process control instrumentation systems
used to control flow, pressure, level, temperature, and other parameters in
water and wastewater facilities. The workshop provides practical insight
into what process instrumentation does and how it applies to smooth and
efficient facility operation and control. Participants will learn
terminology, how to read instrument symbols, how to identify the parts of a
control loop, the types of components and instruments used in process
control systems, and their applications. The instructor will demonstrate and
participants will have opportunities to use control devices.
