Who Should Attend?
Applicants
for the Water Distribution Manager or Water Distribution Specialist
certification and other water utility personnel who wish to prepare for
certification in Washington state. For information on Water
Certification Exams, please call the Washington State Department
of Health in Olympia at 800-525-2536.
Small Water
System Operators (those who serve less than 3300 people) may be able to attend our three
day Water Distribution Certification Exam Review
Class for $50 (previously $285), pending funding from Washington State Department of
Health, Office of Drinking Water. Simply register online, fax or mail in
your registration form. You may also call 253-288-3479 to register.
First come, first served. Enrollment is limited! There will be three
classes in May 2007 and three classes in September 2007. Currently, there
are three classes scheduled in January 2007.
Workshop
Description
This
course has been structured to fit the Association Boards of
Certification (ABC) Need to Know criteria on which the state's new
certification examinations are based. This all-inclusive workshop
presents an extensive math and science refresher along with sound advice on
how to effectively prepare for the O.I.T., I, II and III Water Distribution
certification examinations. It is a systematic and thorough review of the
principles of water utility management, operation and maintenance.
Participants will practice answering mock exam questions referenced to all
categories of the ABC Need-To-Know criteria.

The last 4 digits of the participant's Social Security Number and full birth
date is required. This information is used to create a unique key for each
student. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Payment or purchase order must be received at the time of registration. A
full refund will be made for cancellations received 10 days before the workshop.
No refund will be made for cancellations received less than 10 days before the
workshops. Substitutions made less than
ten (10) days prior to the
workshop incur a $35 processing fee.

for successful completion. Instances of partial attendance, tardiness or
leaving early will result in NO CEU being awarded.
