Who Should Attend?
Water distribution operators, managers, and
other water utility personnel interested in building a thorough skill and
knowledge base of water works management, operation and maintenance. This
workshop also provides an effective foundation for those who preparing for
exams for Water Distribution Manager, Levels OIT, I or II, or Water
Distribution Specialist. For information on Water Certification Exams call

Workshop
Description
New and updated texts and audio visual aids are
used to build a foundation from which to manage, operate and maintain large and small
water systems. Participants will learn important water quality and public
health concerns. They will practice identifying water system components,
their purposes and how they function. They will be briefed on applicable
drinking water rules and regulations, certification and professional growth
requirements and will pick up practical safety and health information vital
to reducing injuries and avoiding costly and embarrassing enforcement
actions. Students will get the latest information on water storage, pumps
and controls, disinfection, pipes, valves, hydrants, meters, and records.

date is required. This information is used to create a unique key for each
student. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Payment or purchase order must be received at the time of registration. A
full refund will be made for cancellations received 10 days before the workshop.
No refund will be made for cancellations received less than 10 days before the
workshops. Substitutions made less than
ten (10) days prior to the
workshop incur a $35 processing fee.

leaving early will result in NO CEU being awarded.
