This course is designed for currently certified backflow assembly testers and others competent in backflow assembly testing. It will help certified BAT's prepare for the Department of Labor and Industries Specialty Plumber Backflow Assembly Repair Certification Examination and will improve the BAT's knowledge of assembly testing troubleshooting and repair.
Workshop Description
This two-day course provides exactly what testers need to diagnose and repair problems with backflow prevention assemblies. Component parts of backflow prevention assemblies are fully reviewed and examined to determine how they function and whether or not they are operating correctly. Participants will engage in valuable hands-on assembly testing practice to determine symptoms of malfunction. Learn how to isolate, disassemble, clean, repair and re-assemble PVBA, DCVA and RPBA assemblies. Learn valuable trade hints that will allow you to locate and eliminate causes of trouble and restore water service to your customers quickly.

A full refund will be made for cancellations received 10 days before the workshop. No refund will be made for cancellations received less than 10 days before the workshops. Substitutions made less than ten (10) days prior to the workshop incur a $35 processing fee.
