For over four decades, WETRC has proudly presented the Washington Operator Workshop (WOW), an event dedicated to equipping waterworks and wastewater professionals across our great state. This year, we're inviting you to Yakima, WA—a central location for almost everyone, making it easier than ever for you to connect with other operators and trade vendors while also elevating your industry skills.

 

Designed by dedicated operators and utility managers on the WOW Program Committee, this year's technical program boasts an array of sessions tailored to meet your specific training needs, ensuring you receive the best value for your investment.

 

This is your opportunity to earn up to 1.7 Continuing Education Units (CEU) for approximately $25 per unit. Join us for three days filled with expert-led sessions and invaluable networking opportunities as we foster a strong sense of community and practical learning that will elevate your career!

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Your registration fee covers:

  • “Design Your Own Schedule*” for up to 1.7 CEU

  • Tuesday evening reception in Vendor Hall  featuring street tacos, nachos & more)

  • Wednesday boxed lunch

SCHEDULE

Regular Conference, 1.5 CEU:

  • Tuesday, March 18: 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

  • Wednesday, March 19: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

  • Thursday, March 20: 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Pre-Conference, 0.2 CEU:

  • Tuesday, March 18: 8:30-11:30 verify

CEU POLICY

Regular Conference: Earn up to 1.5 CEU

Conference workshops are divided into one-hour increments, with the majority being one hour long. There are options that are two-hours (See final schedule for these choices). One CEU is given for each hour of workshop attendance. 

​

Operators must stay the entire hour/length in order to earn CEU for that workshop. CEU cards (given to each attendee at check-in) will be stamped on the way out of each individual workshop.  

​

Late arrivals (over five minutes) and early departures will not each CEU credit for that workshop.

PRE-CONFERENCE TOURS

Pre-Conference CEU: Earn 0.2 CEU

For those interested in a pre-conference activity, choose between a tour of Yakima's Water or Wastewater plant. Transportation is provided; the bus will depart from the convention center and the ride will be hosted by a WOW Advisory Team member. The plant tours will be led by Yakima's local experts. There is an additional registration fee of $70.00 for this option.
