Asbestos Cement Pipe REFRESHER

This morning intensive presents the refresher training needed for those who are certified in AC Pipe but need the required training to keep their certification current*. Participants will review procedures to protect them from cancer-causing asbestos fibers. They will also review recognizing asbestos health hazards, preventing exposure to deadly asbestos fibers, choosing and using protective equipment, and go over approved AC pipe work practices.

*Note: This workshop is not valid for first-time AC Pipe Certification nor operators whose certification has lapsed.  Original or lapsed certification requires an 8-hour class (offered by WETRC throughout the year).  Any conference attendees may register for the workshop if the topic is of interest to them as long as they are aware that this workshop does not meet the requirements for first-time certification. All who attend the workshop will receive conference CEU.
